Owlting Group announced on October 19, 2026, that payment volume on its OwlPay Harbor platform increased approximately 15-fold from April to September 2026, marking eight consecutive months of growth. The disclosure came in a letter to shareholders from Founder and CEO Darren Wang commemorating the company's first year listed on Nasdaq.
Volume and enterprise growth
According to Owlting, OwlPay Harbor's 15-fold increase in monthly payment volume between April and September 2026 reflected an average compound monthly growth rate of more than 70%. The company stated that September marked its eighth consecutive month of payment volume growth.
Owlting reported that its enterprise client roster exceeded 100 as of October 19, 2026, up from 84 clients recorded as of August 31, 2026. In addition, completed transactions on the platform settled into approximately 50 countries and territories during 2026.
Licensing and payment architecture
The company stated that its payment framework combines fiat and digital currency settlement through a single enterprise application programming interface (API). Businesses currently use Harbor to send U.S. dollars or dollar-backed digital currencies, which are then converted and settled in local currencies into recipients' bank accounts.
Through its subsidiary OwlTing USA, Inc., the company holds Money Transmitter Licenses or equivalents in 42 U.S. states and maintains authorization to serve customers in 43 U.S. states. In Japan, Owlting's subsidiary is registered as an Electronic Payment Intermediary Service Provider under local bank API regulations.
Product roadmap and 2030 targets
In his letter, Wang emphasized the regulatory challenges underpinning automated and software-driven payments. "AI can make commerce smarter, but it does not make financial regulation disappear," Wang said. "The hardest part of a payment is not the transfer button, but the infrastructure behind it, and that is what we have spent more than five years building."
Looking ahead, Owlting outlined plans to introduce direct conversion between different digital currencies, as well as dedicated payment mechanisms designed for autonomous AI agents and tokenized stocks. The company reiterated long-term targets of approximately US$500 million in annual revenue from OwlPay and digital currency-enabled services by 2030, with estimated gross margins between 65% and 70% for scaled digital currency payments.
