Meta announced updates to its Forum app, introducing new features designed to reduce routine work for group administrators. Admin AI now helps triage pending items such as member requests and posts, while providing suggestions and checking pending content against established group rules.
Additionally, Admin Assist offers increased flexibility for automated moderation by allowing admins to build custom rules combining conditions like post length, link usage, or prior moderation actions.
Team Collaboration and Tailored Insights
The update includes insights built around a group's current stage, highlighting actions admins should take next. These insights appear directly in the group and Admin Home on Forum.
To help admin teams collaborate, Meta added a shared calendar showing scheduled posts. Admins can use admin AI to draft and schedule up to five posts at once, and pin important member replies for visibility.
