SAP SE announced an agreement to acquire TechWolf, a provider of an AI work intelligence platform, to integrate its context graph into the SAP SuccessFactors portfolio. The transaction is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2026.

Acquisition Details

SAP and TechWolf announced the acquisition agreement on October 6, 2026, subject to usual closing conditions and regulatory approval. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Following the expected fourth-quarter close, SAP plans for TechWolf to remain an independent entity under CEO Andreas De Neve in its Ghent headquarters, with additional offices in London, New York, and San Francisco.

Integration and Strategy

TechWolf provides a continuously updated view of workforce skills using a proprietary data model called context graph for work. SAP plans to incorporate this model into the SAP SuccessFactors portfolio to support talent and work intelligence strategies.

According to Manoj Swaminathan, president and chief product officer for SAP Autonomous Suite, the grounding layer will make token usage more efficient, lower the cost of deploying workforce agents, and improve Joule in AI-driven HR scenarios.
