Mozilla launched its Come Back to Firefox marketing campaign on October 25, 2026, highlighting recent browser updates, AI controls, and technology partnerships. The multi-market campaign features early internet viral icons to promote the independent browser.

Campaign and New Features

Mozilla announced the launch of its Come Back to Firefox campaign, targeting users who previously left the browser. According to the company, the campaign follows a transformative year that introduced a dedicated Enterprise browser and technical partnerships with NVIDIA and Mistral.

The browser has shipped several new products and privacy features, including a free built-in VPN, AI Controls, and an Ad Blocker for Firefox on iOS. John Solomon, Chief Marketing Officer at Mozilla, said the browser is now more private and gives users greater control over their online experience and AI.

Rollout and Production

The campaign launches in the United States on Sunday, October 25, with two 30-second commercials airing on NBC, before rolling out in Germany, France, and the United Kingdom. It was created by independent agency We Believers and produced by nobodys, featuring reenactments of early viral internet videos and memes.

Gustavo Lauria, Founder and CCO at We Believers, stated that the agency wanted an idea belonging to a challenger browser that stayed independent as Big Tech took over.
