On October 22, 2026, Inertial Labs launched the INS-NV, a programmable development platform integrating an inertial navigation system, attitude and heading reference system, and an NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX module.
Platform Features
The INS-NV platform combines an AI processor, tactical-grade MEMS sensors, and a full-constellation GNSS receiver supporting GPS, QZSS, GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou, and NavIC. According to Inertial Labs, the high-performance system hosts demanding machine vision and navigation algorithms for Alternative Position, Navigation and Timing systems.
The platform includes fully calibrated tactical-grade MEMS accelerometers and gyroscopes, a barometric altimeter, and magnetometers. It also enables the integration of Inertial Labs sensor modules and commercial off-the-shelf vision cameras.
Availability and Variants
Inertial Labs stated that the INS-NV is available immediately. MAVLink, ASPN-, pntOS- and MOSA-compliant variants are available on request.
Jamie Marraccini, Vice President of Inertial Labs Products at VIAVI, said the platform addresses traditional challenges by enabling developers to run visual navigation stacks alongside INS and AHRS technologies.
