On October 22, 2026, Precoro introduced the Intake Agent to extend its artificial intelligence capabilities across the intake-to-pay procurement cycle. The new tool creates compliant requisitions from brief descriptions of what employees need.
Automating Intake Compliance
Precoro stated that spend control problems often start at purchase intake when requesters work outside procurement and lack context to choose correct suppliers or GL codes. The new Intake Agent draws on contracted suppliers, catalogs, and past purchases to build complete, compliant requisitions from a brief description.
According to Precoro CEO Andrew Zhyvolovych, the company built the platform so compliance happens by default without extra effort from requesters. Requesters confirm every requisition before submission, and companies define how the agent makes decisions.
AI Workforce Capabilities
The Intake Agent joins Precoro's AI Crews, an interconnected AI workforce designed to help procurement and finance teams handle volume with the same headcount. Current capabilities include Intake, Purchasing, AP Automation, Supplier Management, and Spend Intelligence crews.
Precoro plans to further expand its agent lineup with Approval, Purchasing, and Payment Agents to reduce manual work in the purchasing cycle. More than 1,000 organizations across 80+ countries currently use the platform.
