On October 15, 2026, cloud-native radiology software company Sirona Medical announced that it raised $40 million in a Series D financing round led by Avidity Partners. The funding will fund the company's operating plan indefinitely.

Funding and Investor Details

Sirona Medical announced $40 million in Series D financing led by Avidity Partners, with participation from 8VC, GreatPoint Ventures, KLT Holdings, and other new and existing investors. According to the company, the round funds Sirona's operating plan indefinitely and follows strong year-over-year growth across its platform.

Since its public launch in November 2023, Sirona has grown to dozens of contracted customers across hundreds of integrated sites, with more than 12 million primary imaging exams per year under contract.

Platform Growth and Metrics

As of September 30, 2026, Sirona reported that revenue grew 2.5x year-over-year, while contracted ARR grew 2.7x year-over-year. PACS archive usage increased 2.5x and diagnostic reports submitted through the platform grew 2x year-over-year.

Sirona's RadOS platform unifies PACS, reporting, diagnostic viewing, worklist, and workflow AI on a single cloud and AI-native platform. The company is under contract to onboard over 1,000 additional radiologists over the next twelve months.

Use of Proceeds and Expansion Plans

Sirona plans to use the Series D proceeds to expand its client services organization, which includes hiring Anders Osterholm to lead the team and opening new offices in Burlington, Vermont, and Cincinnati, Ohio. Additional funds will support the commercialization of Sirona Cortex, refinement of the Sirona Network, and the launch of Sirona Global into international markets before the end of 2026.
