Samsung Electronics has partnered with Solana to bring native USDC stablecoin transfers to Samsung Wallet for U.S. Galaxy users starting in late October 2026, according to the Solana Foundation.

Native wallet integration

Samsung Wallet and Samsung Pay will support stablecoins running on the Solana blockchain network. The service allows users to send cross-border remittances using USDC from the same interface used for payment cards, boarding passes, and IDs.

The system incorporates integrated fiat on- and off-ramps to convert local currencies to and from stablecoins, with Solana's infrastructure operating in the background.

U.S. rollout and availability

The integration will initially launch across 82 million U.S. Galaxy devices during the final week of October 2026.

Additional international markets are planned to follow the initial U.S. deployment, subject to local regulatory requirements.

Network activity claims

The Solana Foundation stated that stablecoin supply on Solana has grown nearly 20% year over year, with the network processing over $5.25 trillion in stablecoin volume in 2026 alone.

The organization noted that corporate entities including PayPal and Western Union also utilize the Solana network for stablecoin operations.
