NVIDIA reported that companies across France are deploying agentic computing and sovereign AI infrastructure spanning space, financial services, and public sectors.

Sovereign AI Infrastructure

NVIDIA stated that French companies are expanding agentic infrastructure using its technology across various industries. According to NVIDIA, Bull is planning to extend its European AI server production to NVIDIA Vera Rubin Ultra NVL72 systems by 2028, with trays produced in Europe and rack integration at its Angers factory inaugurated on Friday, Oct. 2.

In the space sector, NVIDIA reported that the Altair-1 satellite launched this month and successfully reached orbit. Integrated by Loft Orbital and built in Abu Dhabi by Orbitworks, the satellite is flying NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin edge modules and running Mistral models for real-time Earth observation and autonomous operations.

Open Models and Industry Adoption

NVIDIA announced that its Nemotron open models are in production across French organizations requiring sovereign data. LINAGORA and Docaposte secured the CANUT framework agreement, making Twake.ai the sole referenced sovereign digital workplace for more than 2,500 French public organizations. Additionally, SBS is launching a sovereign platform for banks in collaboration with NVIDIA.

Industrial and commercial deployments are also expanding. L'Oréal is integrating NVIDIA ALCHEMI into research workflows to explore formulation possibilities, while Mirakl has onboarded more than 70 million products using fine-tuned and open models running on NVIDIA GPUs. Other firms including Omi, ThinkDeep, Port Sud de France, and Bouygues Telecom are also deploying NVIDIA infrastructure and open models for digital twins, port security, and internal agent creation.
