Cloudflare announced a preview of Clairic on October 19, 2026, marking the introduction of a new class of System One extraction models hosted on Workers AI. The company stated the model can extract, compute, estimate, and forecast values from unstructured inputs.
What Clairic Does
Cloudflare said that Clairic is an extraction model designed to handle unstructured data by extracting, computing, estimating, and forecasting values. According to the company, the model operates in a single forward pass without generating tokens, allowing it to respond faster and cheaper than traditional large language models.
The model can return extracted text spans, computed numbers and dates, estimated values with confidence intervals, and forecasted time-series data. Cloudflare noted that every scalar answer includes a null probability and confidence score.
Availability and Roadmap
Clairic is currently available as a preview hosted on Workers AI under the identifier @cf/cloudflare/clairic. Cloudflare stated that it intends to release the model with open weights soon.
The company advised that the current endpoint is an early checkpoint with limitations in multi-step arithmetic and long-horizon forecasting, suggesting that developers use code for math and leverage confidence scores to determine when to automate workflows or request reviews.
