Amazon Web Services announced on October 8, 2026, that AWS Cost Explorer, AWS Budgets, and AWS Cost Management Dashboards now support Amazon Bedrock product attributes.
New Cost Dimensions
AWS Cost Explorer, AWS Budgets, and AWS Cost Management Dashboards now let users analyze Amazon Bedrock costs by product attributes. This new dimension breaks down Bedrock costs by model, model provider, inference type, and feature.
In Cost Explorer and Dashboards, users can group and filter costs by these attributes. In Budgets, you can filter budgets by the same attributes.
Attribute Details and Tagging
The attributes include models such as Claude Sonnet 5 or Claude Haiku 4.5, and model providers like Anthropic or Cohere. Inference types include input or output tokens, while features include on-demand inference or reranker.
Users can combine product attributes with cost allocation tags on application inference profiles, projects, or workspaces. They can also use IAM principal tags to see which users or roles drive spending.
Regional Availability
Amazon Web Services stated that the Amazon Bedrock product attribute dimension is available today at no additional charge. It is offered in all AWS Regions, excluding the AWS GovCloud (US) Regions and the China (Beijing) and China (Ningxia) Regions.
