ProFTPD flaw CVE-2015-3306 is being actively exploited, CISA warns

CISA added the ProFTPD vulnerability to its Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog on October 8, 2026, with a federal remediation deadline of October 11, 2026.

The US Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) added CVE-2015-3306, a ProFTPD Improper Access Control Vulnerability, to its Known Exploited Vulnerabilities (KEV) catalog on October 8, 2026. CISA adds a flaw to the catalog when it has reliable evidence that attackers are exploiting it in the wild.
