PaleBlueDot AI, a Palo Alto-based AI compute company founded in 2024, said on October 1, 2026 that it had completed a $200 million Series C financing led by ComputeCore at a valuation of $3.2 billion. The company said existing shareholder B Capital joined the round alongside other global investors.
What the company announced
PaleBlueDot AI said the Series C follows a $150 million Series B financing it announced in January. The company described itself as a Silicon Valley-based "Super Intelligence" platform headquartered in Palo Alto.
According to the company, proceeds from the round will fund additional compute capacity, which it said would give customers greater choice in locations and hardware.
The platform
The company said its infrastructure platform combines self-owned GPU clusters, a GPU marketplace and serverless inference businesses, and that its stated mission is to make intelligence universally accessible.
PaleBlueDot AI said it owns and operates dedicated GPU clusters that it customizes for global customers with large or specialized workloads. It said its B300 cluster in Japan recently earned NVIDIA Exemplar Cloud status, which it described as validating its performance against NVIDIA's reference benchmarks.
Through its marketplace, the company said, customers get on-demand access to compute across a global network of supply partners, while its serverless inference offering targets developers and enterprises.
Business figures cited
The company said that as of the end of September 2026 it had signed over $5 billion in customer contracts, and that customers from the U.S. and Japan together accounted for more than half of monthly revenue. These are company figures; the press release did not cite independently audited data.
PaleBlueDot AI said its clusters are located across multiple regions and that it had diversified both its data-center capacity and its customer base this year. It also said its supply chain was built for efficiency and security, enabling customers to bring capacity online quickly.
What the CEO said
Stephen Watts, chief executive of PaleBlueDot AI, said in the release: "We will continue to broaden our customer base, with a focus on frontier labs, Neolabs and enterprises in the U.S., and we will invest in our full-stack and go-to-market teams."
The company said its name refers to the image of Earth taken on the 1990 Voyager space mission, which Carl Sagan called "a pale blue dot."
