CISA added the MikroTik RouterOS vulnerability to its Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog on September 25, 2026, with a federal remediation deadline of September 28, 2026.

The US Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) added CVE-2026-67279, a Mikrotik RouterOS Improper Enforcement of Behavioral Workflow Vulnerability, to its Known Exploited Vulnerabilities (KEV) catalog on September 25, 2026. CISA adds a flaw to the catalog when it has reliable evidence that attackers are exploiting it in the wild.

Mikrotik RouterOS contains an improper enforcement of behavioral workflow vulnerability that could allow an unauthenticated client to open a session channel and send an exec request. This vulnerability can be chained to achieve unauthenticated exploitation of CVE-2026-86060.
