Program Overview and Workshops

Apple and The King's Trust are expanding their partnership by launching the Apple x King's Trust Creative Labs education program. The initiative provides young people with engagement across industries alongside Apple experts, equipping them with technology, resources, skills, confidence, and expertise.

A first cohort of up to 20 young people ages 18 to 30 will join specialized workshops to learn industry-aligned skills using Apple technologies. The experience began with music industry and creative workshops aligned with the opening of Apple Music Hall at Battersea Power Station in London, with more sessions planned over the coming year.

Partnership History and AI Resources

Alisha Johnson Wilder, Apple's senior director of Global Community Impact, stated that education is a powerful force for equity and opportunity. Jonathan Townsend, The King's Trust's UK chief executive, noted the partnership helps young people develop confidence and creative digital skills.

Since 2019, Apple's support has enabled The King's Trust to expand STEAM programming to schools through the Achieve program using Apple coding resources. Additionally, Apple is working with The Trust to develop resources that build AI literacy, creativity, and agency among educators and young people.
