Amazon introduced two personal AI hardware devices on October 15, 2026: the Bee Frontier wearable and the Bee Eclipse magnetic phone attachment. The company said the devices record and summarize conversations into insights, reminders, and action items using an isolated privacy architecture.
Hardware specifications and pricing
Bee Frontier is a wearable device that users can wear on their wrist with a silicone band or clip onto clothing. Amazon stated that the device features IP67 water resistance, dual microphones with noise filtering, USB-C charging, and up to seven days of battery life. It is available immediately on Amazon.com for $74.99 in Lavender, Sage, and Onyx.
Bee Eclipse is an attachment roughly the size of a credit card that connects magnetically to the back of a smartphone. According to Amazon, it provides more than 21 days of battery life on a single charge and prompts users to obtain permission from call participants each time recording begins. The company said Bee Eclipse will be available soon starting at $99.99 in Silver, Midnight, Honey, and Blush.
Software capabilities and integrations
Both devices capture context from conversations and connected applications to generate summaries and recommended actions, which users can view in Bee mobile and desktop apps. Amazon said users can connect the hardware to Gmail, Google Calendar, Microsoft Outlook, Apple HealthKit, and photo libraries to automate follow-up emails, calendar invites, and wellness tracking.
The hardware also links with Alexa+ for hands-free voice access to summaries and to-dos, as well as Amazon.com to surface personalized shopping recommendations based on items mentioned in conversation.
Amazon stated that basic features, including recaps and a 14-day memory window, are included at no added cost. An optional Bee Pro subscription costs $11.99 per month and provides unlimited conversation summaries, third-party and Amazon integrations, and access to the desktop application, with a 30-day free trial for new customers.
Privacy and security architecture
Amazon claimed both devices operate on Bee Private Compute, a security architecture where audio is processed in real time and deleted immediately without long-term audio storage.
The company said transcripts are encrypted using keys generated and held only by the user's device, ensuring Amazon cannot access customer data. Both devices include a physical button to toggle audio capture and a visible LED indicator light to show when processing is active.
