On October 26, 2026, over 20 foundations and philanthropies launched All In For Jobs, a $1 billion initiative aimed at connecting Americans to good jobs in response to AI and automation. Launch partners have committed over $800 million to date.
Initiative Goals and Community Focus
Over the next five years, All In For Jobs will identify 250 communities whose residents have lost jobs over recent decades or face new job losses to AI and automation. The initiative will work with local leaders to help people connect to good jobs and keep them.
Rather than only creating new jobs from scratch, the initiative focuses on missing links that keep people from open jobs, such as unaffordable childcare, transportation that does not reach the job, or training that does not connect to employer needs.
Partners and Coalition Support
To launch the effort, over 20 foundations have committed $800 million. Beginning in January 2027, partners will convene regularly to identify, test, and scale solutions.
Supporters include the AARP Foundation, Community Foundation of Greater Flint, Google.org, James S. McDonnell Foundation, Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation, McKnight Foundation, NextLadder Ventures, The Rockefeller Foundation, Stand Together, Strada Education Foundation, and StriveTogether, among others.
