Garmin announced on October 15, 2026, two new service integrations for flyGarmin.com, connecting automated aircraft flight logs to Class A and Coflyt.

Automating flight log data

Garmin said compatible avionics collect data from startup to shutdown, including GPS track, attitude information, engine data, aircraft total time, departure time, and carbon monoxide levels.

Flight logs can be uploaded automatically to flyGarmin.com on the ground using the GDL 60 datalink and PlaneSync service over LTE or Wi-Fi connectivity. Data can also transfer through the Flight Stream 510 wireless gateway into the Garmin Pilot app for upload.

New platform integrations

The additions bring the total number of integrated analysis and management services on flyGarmin.com to 12. Existing partners include FlySto, Crewchief Systems, Savvy Aviation, Navi, Brazos Safety Systems, Jet-Care, Pilotbase, TBX, PLANELOGIX, and AircraftMX.

Class A uses flight data analytics for aviation insurance underwriting and is using the integration to launch a flight operational quality assurance and flight data monitoring capability within its Virtual Flight Department.

Coflyt integrates logs into its cloud-based aircraft management software, which tracks inspections, maintenance, airworthiness directive compliance, squawk sheets, scheduling, and payments in one interface.

Sharing controls and requirements

Garmin stated that aircraft owners must opt in through flyGarmin.com to share logs with chosen service providers. Once activated, the system automatically shares current and future flight logs for the selected aircraft, and owners can revoke access to future logs at any time.

Automatic flight log uploading requires an active PlaneSync subscription plan and compatible avionics, while automatic database updates also require active database subscriptions.
