Amazon Web Services announced on October 9, 2026, that AWS Security Hub now supports exporting security findings directly to Amazon S3 in CSV or JSON format. Security teams can now perform on-demand exports without building custom extraction pipelines.
Export Capabilities
Amazon Web Services stated that security teams needing findings outside the console for compliance reporting and audit evidence can now export findings from every findings page in the Security Hub console. These pages include Threats, Exposure, Vulnerabilities, Posture Management, Sensitive Data, and All Findings.
Users can start an export on demand from the findings page they are viewing and have Security Hub deliver the results to an S3 bucket in their account.
Format Options and Availability
According to Amazon Web Services, users can choose CSV when they want to review or share findings in a spreadsheet. They can also export in JSON if they need findings in Open Cybersecurity Schema Framework format.
The findings export feature is available in all AWS Regions where AWS Security Hub is available.
