Flex announced on October 14, 2026, that it has completed its acquisition of intelligent power conversion provider EPC Power. The transaction integrates EPC Power into Flex's Cloud and Power Infrastructure segment.

Expanding Power Capabilities

Flex stated that EPC Power is now part of its Cloud and Power Infrastructure segment. The acquisition expands the company's capabilities across power, cooling, and compute to support higher-density AI infrastructure and 800V data center power architectures.

Revathi Advaithi, Chief Executive Officer of Flex, said the company is pleased to welcome the EPC team. Advaithi noted that the acquisition adds differentiated power conversion and grid-forming technology to help customers address growing AI power demands.

Future Spin-Off Plans

Flex plans to separate its Cloud and Power Infrastructure segment into an independent publicly traded company named Axiom Solutions International, Inc. The company expects to complete this separation in the first calendar quarter of 2027.

EPC Power brings proprietary hardware, software, and controls with U.S.-based engineering and manufacturing. According to Flex, the company has more than 15 GW deployed to support grid stabilization, backup power, and next-generation 800V architectures.
