ConnX, a New Jersey-based provider of AI-powered operational intelligence software, said on October 2, 2026 that it is integrating Intel edge computing technology into its MaestroIQ Shared Intelligence Layer. The company said the work targets transportation, manufacturing and other distributed operations.

What was announced

ConnX said it is pairing the Intel Core Ultra Series 3 platform with MaestroIQ, which the company said ingests and correlates signals from networks, applications, cybersecurity systems, vehicles and industrial assets.

According to the release, the combined architecture is designed to process data closer to the point of operation rather than in a centralized data center. ConnX said it selected the technology because it complements the company's orchestration and industry application layer.

ConnX said the initiative is intended to help operators correlate fragmented data sources and respond to developing issues faster, and that for cities and transportation operators the real-time intelligence can improve situational awareness and support faster response to safety or service disruptions. Those are the company's claims; the release provides no independent performance data.

What the companies say comes next

ConnX said it and Intel plan to begin joint proof of value demonstrations within the initial 90 days of the collaboration, with additional details to follow as the work progresses.

The release does not name customers, pricing or general availability. ConnX said it will share additional details about the collaboration, including customer outcomes, as they become available, and that the work builds on existing MaestroIQ deployments across transportation, manufacturing, retail and other mission-critical sectors.

Executive comment

"Intelligence increasingly needs to operate where the physical business happens, across vehicles, factories, stores and critical infrastructure, not just in the data center," said Indrajit Ghosh, CEO of ConnX.

Ghosh added: "Working with Intel's edge technology helps us move customers from isolated AI pilots toward operational AI they can act on in real time."

The release states that it references a technical collaboration involving Intel and is subject to Intel review prior to publication. The announcement was issued by ConnX; Intel is not quoted in it.

Company background as described

ConnX describes itself as a provider of AI-powered connectivity, communications, cybersecurity and operational-intelligence solutions for mission-critical enterprises and public-sector organizations.

The company said MaestroIQ and its industry-specific solutions help organizations connect fragmented IT, OT, communications, security and operational systems to improve visibility, resilience and decision-making.
